Welcome to Childtime Learning Center in Ellicott City, MD!
Whether it's providing loving care for Infants or participating in activities in our Preschool programs, we enjoy what we get to do each day and that is to watch so many little ones learn and grow. Children are the leaders of tomorrow and we understand the importance of their developmental milestones during the early years. Our teachers participate in training throughout the year to ensure we are providing the best care and education for our students.
We strive to create a warm and welcoming environment and maintain an open-door policy for anyone who would like to talk. We plan events for everyone to participate in and I work hard to ensure that families meet each other and develop strong relationships, as well.

Joanne Tucker, Director
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education
I began my journey in Childcare in 2011 and started my career with Learning Care Group in 2019. I have always seen myself working with children and being able to have a positive impact on their lives. Seeing the excitement and accomplishment from the teachers and children when a new skill or milestone has been achieved is the highlight of my day! I enjoy photography, hiking, and spending time with my daughter, family, and friends.

Education: Early Childhood Development
I have 19 years of experience working with children from the ages of six weeks to 12 years old. I come from a huge family, which encouraged my passion to work with children. I have an 11-year-old son, and I enjoy being with my family and creating new memories. I have been a part of the company for five years.

Nichole Balsoma, Team Lead
Education: Early Childhood Education
I joined Childtime in 2022 as an Assistant Teacher. I quickly realized that Childcare was my career of choice and furthered my education to become a Lead Teacher and ultimately a Team Lead. My husband and I have two amazing children who also attend Childtime, Makenzie (age 4) and Dale Jr. AKA Juni (age 3). I absolutely love learning each child's personality and use their strengths to help them grow and develop even further.
