Our Classrooms

Every child has an itch to explore. At Childtime educational daycare, we encourage it. Our whole child care philosophy is built around empowering children to learn in their own ways at their own pace, and explore their own interests. That’s why we have developed classroom environments where children feel safe and free to explore and discover.

In Childtime’s home-like surroundings, we have special interest areas that include engaging and interesting materials. In these areas, children use their bodies, senses and their emerging problem-solving skills to learn and make sense of their world in meaningful ways.

The Infant, Beginning Steps, Early Preschool and Preschool classrooms are divided into interest areas that meet children’s developmental needs.

• Move — This part of the classroom allows kids to use their bodies. Jumping. Dancing. Climbing. Playing games. This is good exercise for the body and the brain.
• Explore & Express — Sensory exploration and creative expression lets children act like scientists, experimenting with materials, new ways of doing things and engaging in pretend play.
• Relax — Here is the cozy place where children and teachers can read books, tell stories and talk. Just like adults, children need to relax, too.

Our classrooms for older children also include everything they need to learn, explore their interests and engage in productive social interactions.
