The Make-A-Wish Foundation® and RMHC® are devoted to improving the lives of children. And so is Childtime educational daycare. That’s why we help them in every way we can.
Our involvement with these important organizations helps them do great things for children around the world. Our involvement also does great things for the children at Childtime – they learn lessons about compassion and caring that will last a lifetime.
Founded in 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. With the help of generous donors and nearly 25,000 volunteers, the Make-A-Wish Foundation grants wishes every forty minutes and has granted more then 20,000 wishes in the United States since its inception.
For nearly a decade, Childtime has been supporting the Make-A-Wish Foundation through our annual Fall Festival and other fund-raising events. We’ve raised more than $7 million to date.
To “create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children.” That’s why RMHC were created. Ronald McDonald House®, the Ronald McDonald Family Room® and the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile® operate in 54 countries and regions. They award grants to nonprofit organizations, and local chapters give thousands of college scholarships each year to outstanding students.
Childtime supports RMHC with food drives and our Fall Festival. In addition, groups from Childtime child care go to local Ronald McDonald Houses to cook meals for the families staying there.
