NAEYC Accreditation
The Highest Standards for Success
Childtime is committed to accrediting all of our daycare schools through at least one nationally recognized organization, including:
- National Association for the Education of Young Children, (NAEYC)
- National Early Childhood Program Accreditation (NECPA)
- National Accreditation Commission for Early Care and the Education Programs (NAC)
- Accredited Professional Preschool Learning Environment (APPLE)
- National After-School Association (NAA)
All of our schools are licensed by the state in which they operate and adhere to the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, teaching and child care.
What is accreditation?
Accreditation is an important early childhood quality initiative. The focus of accrediting bodies is to recognize and promote “best practices” in early childhood settings.
Accreditation:
- Defines standards of quality for the field of early childhood care and education.
- Helps parents and policymakers recognize high-quality early childhood programs and initiatives.
- Recognizes teachers as professionals and supports ongoing training and professional development.
