I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our school! My name is Suneeta and I am the director. I have a master’s degree in Child Development. I bring more than 20 years of experience as a teacher and manager.
I love interacting with families and seeing the children’s smiling faces every day. There is nothing better than starting the morning with a hug from a child that enters our school or receiving countless pictures throughout the day.
I truly try to make a difference in the families’ lives that attend our school and I make every effort to make time to hear what anyone has to say about our program. We do an excellent job of preparing children for kindergarten and I take pride in attending graduation knowing our children will successfully take what they have learned at Childtime into their next phase of education.
We create stimulating and developmentally appropriate classrooms that engage and challenge children. We are a diversified center with talented team of teachers! Each teacher brings something unique to the center. They take the extra time to know the child and motivate them to learn. We have created a cozy environment at our school and encourage parents to participate in the multiple activities and events we have each year. Our Programs
At Childtime, we believe children learn best when they’re actively engaged. That’s why The Empowered Child™ curriculum ― developed by our team of education experts ― gives children the guidance and freedom to construct their own body of knowledge in ways most meaningful to them.
The Empowered Child™ is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to early learning and is based on the work of respected child development/early education theorists Jean Piaget, Erik Erikson and Lev Vygotsky.
Infant Program:
We provide stimulating learning and gross motor activities for our infants. We also include them in our summer camp by providing a special camp calendar with specific, age-appropriate activities tailored just for them.
Beginning Steps / Exploration Station / Early Learners Program:
Our toddler room and program is designed to keep our curious toddlers engaged and having fun. In our toddler program, the teachers choose a star child of the week and involve parents to decorate the board, even though every child is a star!
Skill Builders / Kindergarten Connection Program:
The Empowered Child curriculum encourages kids’ natural curiosity and willingness to try new things, so children discover the ways they learn best. So in addition to basic skills, your child learns about self-direction, self-reliance and self-esteem. This fall, we will be offering music, Soccershots, Jump Bunch and ballet! We build a strong foundation and motivate our children while providing a fun, challenging environment that inspires lifelong learning!
School-Age Program:
During the school year, we focus on providing homework support for our school-age children. Our teachers work closely with children to provide assistance in all subjects.
