Our Programs

At Childtime, we believe children learn best when they’re actively engaged. That’s why The Empowered Child™ curriculum ― developed by our team of education experts ― gives children the guidance and freedom to construct their own body of knowledge in ways most meaningful to them.

The Empowered Child™ is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to early learning and is based on the work of respected child development/early education theorists Jean Piaget, Erik Erikson and Lev Vygotsky.

Infant Program:

Our infant staff has been in early childhood for more than eight years. They are certified in CPR and first aid. Our infants experience stimulating learning in language, cognitive, physical, social and emotional development as part of our daily curriculum.

Beginning Steps / Exploration Station / Early Learners Program:

All of our toddler programs include a stimulating and educational curriculum that includes many sensory activities and exploration. Our teachers have been with us for more than six years!

Skill Builders / Kindergarten Connection Program:

We use The Empowered Child curriculum for these programs, which includes readiness skills preparing the children for kindergarten, keeping journals, science, math, language and introducing the children to sign language and Spanish. This challenging, fun and age-appropriate program engages the whole child, helping to hone thinking, reasoning and communicating. Our children are engaged in educational and exciting classroom activities that prepare them for the social and academic expectations of kindergarten as well as foster a love for learning! Part-time programs are available.

School-Age Program:

During the school year, we focus on providing homework support for our school-age children. Our school-age teacher has also started a book club for our students!
