Hello and welcome to our wonderful facility. My name is Kristina and I am the director. I have been working in early childhood education since 1994. I have a bachelor’s degree in Business Management as well as my Child Development Associate (CDA).
Working with children is my passion! I enjoy interacting with my families and seeing the children grow and develop into lifetime learners. I enjoy the personal relationships with parents and children and truly feel like an extension of their families. I am committed to our school and our families.
I am confident that I run one of the best programs in the area and that our students are safe and learning every day because we truly have the best teachers around who have a passion for what they do! Our combined staff experience is well over 180 years! Most of our teachers have been in this industry for well over 13 years!
I create a very warm environment and have an open-door policy where anyone can come and talk to me at any time. We plan a lot of events for everyone to participate in and I work hard to ensure that families meet each other and develop strong relationships, too. Call us today and see why our school is the premier provider when it comes to care, education and the highest standards of excellence.
Why Us
We are committed to our school and our families. We are confident that we have one of the best programs in the area because our students are safe and learning in a stimulating and fun environment. We truly have the best teachers around!
Our Programs
At Childtime, we believe children learn best when they’re actively engaged. That’s why The Empowered Child™ curriculum ― developed by our team of education experts ― gives children the guidance and freedom to construct their own body of knowledge in ways most meaningful to them.
The Empowered Child™ is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to early learning and is based on the work of respected child development/early education theorists Jean Piaget, Erik Erikson and Lev Vygotsky.
Infant Program:
Every moment with an infant is precious and we take advantage of that. Our specially designed infant care rooms are places where babies feel safe, secure and happy.
Beginning Steps / Exploration Station / Early Learners Program:
Our toddler room and program is designed to keep our curious toddlers engaged and having fun. Our energetic toddlers get the stimulation of being in an encouraging and exploratory environment.
Skill Builders / Kindergarten Connection Program:
The Empowered Child curriculum encourages kids’ natural curiosity and willingness to try new things, so children discover the ways that they learn best. So in addition to basic skills, your child learns about self-direction, self-reliance and self-esteem.
Our curriculum helps children develop the critical thinking and problem-solving skills they’ll need to succeed in kindergarten, school and life. Teachers plan lessons to deepen understanding of basic academic concepts through exploration, investigation and play. We provide a place where children can challenge themselves and enjoy the thrill of discovery as they look forward to school.
School-Age Program:
During the school year, we focus on providing homework support for our school-age children. Our teachers work closely with children to provide assistance in all subjects.
