At Childtime of Roseville, not only will you find a nationally accredited program, but you will find teachers who truly care about your child’s educational success.

We have seven beautiful classrooms that are broken up by age group allowing children to grow and socialize with children there own age. Each classroom was designed to have a warm and inviting atmosphere encouraging children and families to feel like they are coming into their second homes.

We also have two playgrounds. One playground is for our younger students with lots of smaller riding toys and equipment to meet there physical needs. Our larger playground is for preschool through school age. It has bigger equipment and tricycles, along with balls and other activities. Both playgrounds back-up to a beautiful setting with many trees.

And here, you will find that your child’s safety is just as important to us as it is to you. Every parent receives a personal code to enter our building. If we do not recognize someone, we always check identification.  We are also very proud of our touch screen system. Parents have to sign their children in and out every day. This system is updated frequently allowing us to monitor how many children and staff we have in our building.. Once in the classrooms, our teachers complete a face-to-name sheet which means that before and after each transition, teachers have to count children in their classroom by face and name. At our school your child is not a number s/he is an important life that we take great responsibility for.

Our Programs

At Childtime, we believe children learn best when they’re actively engaged. That’s why The Empowered Child™ curriculum – developed by our team of education experts – gives children the guidance and the freedom to construct their own body of knowledge in ways most meaningful to them.

The Empowered Child™ is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to early learning and is based on the work of respected child development/early education theorists Jean Piaget, Erik Erikson and Lev Vygotsky.

Infant Program:

We have the strongest infant team in all of Roseville! Our teachers are warm, nurturing and above all treat our littlest students as part of their family. They are CPR and first-aid certified. Our infants’ health and safety is our top priority. We even require our families to put on shoe covers before coming into the classroom. A part-time program is available.

Beginning Steps / Exploration Station / Early Learners Program:

Our toddler room is a warm and nurturing environment where children truly feel like they are walking into an extension of their home. Our teachers enjoy every child and encourage them to start engaging in activities including art and science! Enrichment programs include ABC Music & Me, gymnastics and a Spanish program. Part-time programs are available.

Skill Builders / Kindergarten Connection Program:

We have a fantastic Preschool and Pre-K program lead by wonderful teachers. Our curriculum helps children develop the critical thinking and problem-solving skills they’ll need to succeed in kindergarten, school and life. Teachers plan lessons to deepen understanding of basic academic concepts through exploration, investigation and play. We provide a place where children can challenge themselves and enjoy the thrill of discovery as they look forward to school. Enrichment programs include ABC Music & Me, Spanish and Little Dreamers Gymnastics. Part-time programs are available.

School-Age Program:

We have a small, intimate school-age program. We currently offer before- and after- school care for children in kindergarten through ten years old. During the school year, we focus on providing homework support as well as fun, engaging activities for our students.

Our family recently moved out of the Roseville, CA area and were excited about our new journey with the exception of leaving Childtime. This particular Childtime center accepted our children warmly, treating them like family while providing them with education and guidance that they needed to develop.  My husband and I were able to focus on our career demands during the day without having to worry about the kids.  All the teachers we encountered were engaged with the kids and enjoyed their jobs.  The center director and assistant always kept us in the loop of events or changes and wanted to know us personally and our needs so they could make the experience as positive as possible. I personally loved having the professional studios’ take photographs of the kids that we could use for holiday gifts and photographs for our home. Thank you for organizing that for me and making it easy! We will miss everyone at the center and hope that other families get the spots we vacated to have a similar experience.
