With five simple ingredients and four easy steps, you can create hours of summer fun for your family. All kids love bubbles, but yours will go gaga for these gigantic ones.

Step 1. Here’s how you start:

  • 6 cups water
  • ½ cup dish soap
  • 1/2 cup corn starch
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp glycerine

Step 2. Here’s what you do:

Dissolve the corn starch in water (stir well). Gently stir in other ingredients. Let the mixture sit for at least an hour (stir occasionally if corn starch settles on the bottom).

Step 3: Buy a bubble wand or make your own, with two drinking straws and a long piece of string (six to eight times longer than a straw). Thread it through the straws and tie a knot.

Step 4: Have fun!
