Welcome to Our School

Welcome to our Childtime in Alexandria, VA! Our Infant, Preschool and other early education enhancement programs provide the perfect foundation for learning and development inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy.

Many of our teachers have been with us for at least ten years. Several have a bachelor's degree or are working toward their Child Development Associate. They receive year-round training through Childtime and participate in ongoing training through local colleges, the state of Virginia and Fairfax County. All staff are trained in CPR and First Aid. Most importantly, all of our staff members share a passion for children and their continued growth!

Education: Director's Credential, CDA preschool/infant/toddler

Certifications: First aid/CPR, MAT trained, Food Manager's License

I have been in Early Childhood education for 23 years. My passion for children motivates me everyday to meet children developmental needs. Our center provides a safe, loving, nurturing environment, where children can explore great experiences with amazing teachers. We foster a sense of community building trusting relationships with families.
