Mother’s Day Bouquet Craft

Homemade gifts are the best! Show someone special how much you care by creating this sweet card, bursting with colorful blooms. Grab your craft supplies and follow along as we create a special Mother's Day Bouquet that's sure to make her smile.

What You’ll Need:

• Colored Paper, 4 Sheets (Construction paper works well.)
• White Paper, 1 Sheet (We recommend sturdy card stock.)
• Pencil or Marker
• Scissors
• Glue
• Green Pipe Cleaners
• Craft Template (click to download and print the PDF)

Let’s Get Crafty:

Step 1: Print your mug of choice on colored paper, then cut it out. This will be for the front. We’ve provided templates for both Mom and Grandma. You could also leave it blank and design your own.

Step 2: Cut out the plain mug template. This will be for the back.

Step 3: Trace the template onto a piece of matching colored paper, then cut it out.

Step 4: Now it’s time to work on the flowers. Cut out one of the tulip templates provided. Choose three different colors of paper. Trace two tulips on each sheet.

Step 5: Cut out each tulip. You’ll have six in all.

Step 6: Grab the glue! It’s time to assemble your mug and flowers.

• Glue the back of the mug down on a piece of white paper. Use card stock if possible.
• Add the top layer of the mug, only gluing the handle so it opens just like a card.
• Glue three of the flowers into position above the mug. This will be your bouquet.
• Fold the three remaining tulips as shown in the video to add dimension.

Step 7: Glue your folded tulips on top of each matching flower. Cut the green pipe cleaners to use as stems. Glue them down, just inside the rim of your mug. Write a kind message inside.
