We Care About School-Age Students
We’re Here for Ages 5 to 12
We recognize the strain the current climate creates for parents. With schools potentially closed in your community, we want to let you know that we remain a resource for families with needs for their school-age children, particularly those families supporting recovery efforts in critical roles (healthcare, police, fire, EMT, etc.).
We are closely following the guidance from the CDC, as well as local and state officials and health authorities, as we take extreme care to maintain a safe and healthy school environment.
We want to keep students engaged and learning at this time, so they can become their best self.
The Prep Lab
Now, more than ever, your focus is on your child being grade-level ready. We’re here to help. This program for elementary school students can bridge potential gaps between school years. Our teachers have been trained to support local school district distance learning so children stay on course with their studies.
Your child can bring a device from home to complete distance learning assignments with our help. (If you do not have a device, we will do our best to support you.) We’re here to back you up (plus your child’s teachers) and strengthen your child’s ability to finish school work each day.
Plus: Discover The Prep Lab at summer camp, with more enhanced educational experiences.
My Best Self!™
The five clubs of our My Best Self! program for school-age students focus on goal-setting, reflection, and character development to encourage personal growth and lifelong success. With a mix of independent and organized activities, and education and recreation opportunities, our program provides order and routine, while offering an involving experience focused on:
- Homework support
- Team-building opportunities
- Physical activity
We offer strategies, routines, and support in building each student’s independence and sense of responsibility. At the core of every activity, challenge, exploration, and strategy are the 5 MEs.
- Companionate Me
- Capable Me
- Courageous Me
- Healthy Me
- Social Me
