Welcome to Our School

Our Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, daycare and preschool, Childtime on West Portage Trail, has been caring for families since February 2000. We are near St. John's Episcopal Church, First United Methodist Church, and Cuyahoga Falls Library. Our staff hold CPR and First Aid certifications and have completed communicable disease prevention, child abuse prevention, and trauma-informed care training. We serve families from Akron.

Families begin with Infants and Toddlers and keep going through Early Preschool and Pre-K, plus Before and After School Care, for ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Third-party child care help is welcome here, and we can talk it through on tour. Learn from the Start® builds infant learning through loving relationships, and Learn as We Grow® for Toddlers through Pre-K explores Cause and Effect through play, like early preschoolers comparing and measuring volume through sensory play.

Enrichment options include Spotlight on Kindergarten, which helps children get ready for kindergarten, and Soccer, which teaches teamwork and soccer skills with friends. Peek at every enrichment on this page. Bussing is available with Woodridge Elementary School. Our family app, SproutAbout®, puts real-time photos, video, and care updates in your hands, and livestreaming video offers a classroom window.

Meals and snacks include a variety of healthy choices, and new foods are always welcome. A nurturing environment depends on a secure one, and we make safety our top priority.
