Twos Classroom

In this classroom, an energetic environment helps give these mobile 2-year-olds a foundation for later learning. Teachers provide guided care, while little ones enjoy five classroom areas for exploration and discovery.

Movement & Music Center

Dance, jump, sway, and swing! Children develop the ability to coordinate and combine large muscle movements.

Block & Math Center

Explore shape, size, texture, and number through sorting and matching, creative structures, and making ramps.

Art & Science Center

Explore the world! Twos participate in sensory explorations, simple science investigations, and creative expression.

Pretend Center

Dramatic play helps develop children’s critical-thinking skills, as well as their expressive and receptive vocabulary.

Language & Literacy Center

Drawing pictures, “writing” by making letter-like scribbles, re-telling stories by acting them out with their bodies and with puppets to develop more complex language and literacy skills.
