Welcome to Our School

Hello, Houston! Childtime of Houston opened its doors in November 2003 as a daycare and preschool, close to Kroger and ALDI. Those who care for your child hold First Aid and CPR certifications.

That is our lineup: Infants, Toddlers, Twos, Preschool, Pre-K, Junior Kindergarten, and Before and After School Care, for ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Our flexible daycare includes Drop-in Care, Part-time schedules, and School Breaks when plans change. We are glad to accept third-party child care assistance; our team can answer questions on tour. Wondercamp is our summer adventure, with weekly themes such as Wonders of Storytelling and Wonders of Garden. Learn from the Start® builds infant learning through loving relationships, and Learn as We Grow® for Toddlers through Pre-K turns curiosity into learning, like two-year-olds watching plants grow.

Grow Fit Yoga pairs yoga poses with cooperative games, and Dance lets children express themselves through movement. Flip through every enrichment on this page. Bussing connects us with Bang Elementary School, Francone Elementary School, and Harmony Public Schools, and we can name more on tour. Fresh air and active play happen on our age-separated playground. Our SproutAbout® app shares real-time photos, video, and care updates, along with livestreaming video of the classroom.

Safety and comfort come first in our Infants Program, where Primary Caregivers offer your little one personalized attention. Learn from the Start™, our exclusive milestone-based curriculum, guides every experience, from sensory play to early language and motor skill building. The classroom is designed with everything teachers need at their fingertips, so they can stay by your baby’s side. Sensory pools and mats, activity gyms, and other age-appropriate toys and materials engage all five senses, inspiring curiosity and exploration in a safe space. With a maximum teacher-child ratio of 1:4, your baby always feels the love and attention they need. Diapers and wipes are also included, giving families one less thing to worry about each day.

Our Summer Camp program, Wondercamp, gives children a summer filled with discovery, creativity, and fun through hands-on activities, outdoor play, and engaging weekly themes. Designed for toddlers to 12-year-olds, this full-day program encourages imagination, curiosity, and collaboration with friends.
