Welcome to Our School

Welcome to Childtime in Spring, TX! My name is Robyn and I am the Center Director. I have over 30+ years of experience in early childhood education, with an Associate's degree as well as numerous certifications in the field. I am a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

Our school is warm and pleasant, and our teachers provide exceptional lesson plans to foster a love of learning in our children. We proudly hold a 4 Star Rating from Texas Rising Stars in Early Childhood Education. The Texas Rising Star Program is a quality rating system for schools participating in The Texas Workforce Commission Child Care Services program.

My entire staff is certified in CPR and First Aid, and each of us participates in over 30 hours of early childhood education training per year. Many of our Teachers hold degrees, Childhood Development Associates (CDA), as well as various certifications.

We offer an academic curriculum founded on the philosophy of Nurture & Thrive. This provides a comprehensive and developmentally appropriate foundation for our Infant to Preschool to Pre-Kindergarten students.

Every single time I have asked questions, expressed a concern or simply shared a point of view my comments have been taken seriously and if necessary actioned. The directors are so responsive I double check myself before airing any concerns to make sure they are valid and not just me having a bad day. I would highly recommend this Childtime facility to anyone looking for quality care for their child. Even if the price seems a little higher than you feel you can pay for younger children, check your resources, double check for work related discounts and do all you can to put your child in their care. You won't regret it!

Robyn Meeks, Director

Education: Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education

Certifications: Food Manager Certification; Texas Director's License

Mrs. Robyn Meeks first started working in early childhood education in 1990. Working with children is her passion. Robyn attended Lone star College and holds a Child Development Associate (CDA). Robyn looks forward to meeting new families and helping children discover their true potential. “All your dreams can come true, if you have the courage to pursue them.” –Walt Disney. Outside of work, Robyn enjoys shopping, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.

Jennifer Hailey, Assistant Director

Miss Jennifer worked for Learning Care Group for 21 years. “I enjoy watching the children grow in every classroom” Throughout her career she has taught students in all ages from Infants to school age children. Jennifer has her director’s license and her Childhood Development Associate (CDA). “I love the feel of our school it makes it feel like home.” Jennifer was raised in Spring, TX and now lives in her childhood home with her husband Jessi and her only daughter Hanah.

Mrs. Veronda Hemphill began her career in childcare in 2007. “I love being involved in helping little ones grow and learn.” Over the past 17 years she has acquired her childhood development associate (CDA) as well her Master Teacher Certification through Learning Care Group. Her hobbies include shopping with friends and family.

Mrs. Ashley Scott first started working in early childhood education in 2003. Having acquired her childhood development associate (CDA) in 2019 she has over 20 years of experience working with children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. “Working with children is my passion and I love being a part of helping mold little minds.” When not working Ashley loves spending time with her family and friends. Shopping, traveling, and going to the movies is where you can find her when not working.
