Thank you for visiting our Childtime Daycare and Preschool Center in Clarksburg, MD!

Our school is a very special place with a loving, home-like atmosphere, that focuses on Reggio Emilia philosophy of education. We offer Infant, Toddler, Early Preschool, Preschool, and Pre-Kindergarten programs.

Our dedicated and professional staff take pride in providing a range of opportunities for children to explore, learn and grow, all while adhering to the highest standards of excellence and care. Each staff member is CPR/First Aid trained and completes required training hours each year.

Kelly VanDenEngel, Director

Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Family Studies

Certifications: First-Aid, CPR, Medication Adminstration, Level 6 MSDE Credentialing

I have been in the early childcare field for over 25 years. My passion has always been working with children and helping them to succeed! I am so excited to brighten each child’s day with a smile and to help them celebrate their achievements and milestones! Each day is a new adventure when teaching children and that is why I love my job.

Education: Associates in Early Childhood Education. Pursing Bachelors in Business Administration

Certifications: CPR, First-Aid, Medication Adminstration

I have been in the early childhood field for 25 plus years. I have always thought it was my destiny to work with children. I was very fortunate to come from a family of teachers, and the heartfelt desire to work with children was passed along to me. What excites me about working with children is seeing them achieve their milestones, knowing that I had a critical part in helping them achieve it. I also enjoy spending time with my family, baking and shopping.
