Welcome to Our School

Welcome to Childtime on Harbourside in Midlothian, VA! Conveniently located off Hull Street Road (Route 360) and Harbourside Drive, our school provides daycare and early education for children from 6 weeks to 12 years old.

Our programs include Infant, Toddler, Twos, Preschool, Pre-K, Before & After School, and Summer Camp. Our experienced teachers provide consistency families can count on, with some team members serving our school for as long as 13 years and many for more than five years. All staff members are First Aid and CPR certified, several are MAT certified, and our team participates in ongoing training throughout the year.

Our School-Age program offers technology that gives children opportunities to create, explore, and learn, including iPads, creative apps, movie-making equipment, coding robots, and more. We also offer bus transportation to and from select local schools, including Alberta Smith Elementary, Spring Run Elementary, and Clover Hill Elementary.

Safety and family engagement are important parts of our school community. Our entrance features a security keypad with a unique code for each family, and we host activities throughout the year, including Parents' Night Out, fall festivals, and enrichment programs.

Andrea Whisenhunt, Director

Education: Associate's Degree in Early Childhood

I am Andrea Whisenhunt. I am honored to be the director here at Childtime. I am a military spouse and a mother to three amazing children. I have traveled all around the United States working in early childhood centers. I truly believe that early childhood is the foundation of each child's future. I love my job and I love watching children grow while supporting the needs of families.
