Welcome to our wonderful Childtime learning center in Monroe, NC! My name is Erica Nations and I am the center director. At Childtime, our infant child care and preschool programs provide the perfect foundation for learning and child development.
I treat my school like everyone here is an extension of my own family - the children, parents and teachers. I create a very warm environment and have an open-door policy where anyone can talk to me at any time. We plan a lot of events for everyone to participate in, and I work hard to ensure that our center's families meet each other and develop strong relationships, too.
The children at our school are attending a NECPA-accredited program that is safe, secure, and full of actively engaged learners. More than half of my teachers have over five years of experience and some have been at our center for more than 18 years.

I have a passion for children and watching them grow and love. After teaching at Childtime for many years, I decided I wanted to lead the program. We have a strong team here who is dedicated to creating life long learners. Our passion for education shows in every classroom.
As a former Pre-K teacher, I loved watching the children grow and learn. Now, as an assistant director, I get to support our teachers in every classroom and help them reach every child.
From helping children learn to walk to teaching them how to interact with their peers and to be successful in school and life are only part of the reason why I love my career. Watching them grow and learn is my passion.
