Welcome to Our School
Caring for children in Monroe since 2005, Childtime of Monroe is a daycare and preschool with a welcoming, family-friendly feel. You will find us near Dickerson Park, Benton Heights School, and Dickerson Center.
We have room in Infants, Toddlers, Twos, Early Preschool, Pre-K, and Before and After School Care for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Our school proudly offers NC Pre-K, a state-funded program, for families who qualify. Our school accepts third-party child care assistance; we can share details on your tour. Learn from the Start® turns every infant interaction into early learning, and Learn as We Grow® for Toddlers through Pre-K turns curiosity into learning, like two-year-olds noticing growth through baby pictures and plants.

Safety and comfort come first in our Infants Program, where Primary Caregivers offer your little one personalized attention. Learn from the Start™, our exclusive milestone-based curriculum, guides every experience, from sensory play to early language and motor skill building. The classroom is designed with everything teachers need at their fingertips, so they can stay by your baby’s side. Sensory pools and mats, activity gyms, and other age-appropriate toys and materials engage all five senses, inspiring curiosity and exploration in a safe space. With a maximum teacher-child ratio of 1:4, your baby always feels the love and attention they need. Diapers and wipes are also included, giving families one less thing to worry about each day.

She has personally called me herself as a courtesy to let me know my child fell and had a small knot on his forehead. My son’s teachers and even teachers he doesn’t have appear to genuinely care for my son and make an effort to hug him and/or greet him upon arrival(and even most days at departure). My husband and I are very pleased knowing our son is cared for and safe while we are at work. We will be enrolling our 6 year old for summer camp at this location also.
