Welcome to Our School

Welcome to Childtime educational daycare and preschool in Phoenix, AZ! We have proudly served the children and families of our community since 1973. My name is Doenisha and I'm the school director.

At Childtime, our Toddler, Two's, Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten programs provide the perfect foundation for learning and child development. We also offer a wonderful Spanish Program for our Pre-School and Pre-K children. We make a daily commitment to the children, our families and each other to provide the best care and support possible. All of our teachers receive monthly training to stay current in the field. Training topics include First Aid, CPR, summer safety and more.

We are excited to offer new technology in our School-Age classroom. These enhancements include iPads featuring apps to create art, music and videos, tripods for movie making, robots for coding and more!

Doenisha Kensey, Director

Education: High School Diploma, Child Development Associate

Certifications: CPR, First Aid, ServSafe Food Handlers

I was raised in Arizona. I have six lovely children with my husband! My children inspired me to join the childcare field and it has been my passion ever since. My children are my everything and their safety means the world to me. I love being able to provide other families with the feeling of knowing their children are safe in my care. In my spare time I also love crafting, collecting coffee mugs from around the world.

Education: Associate's degree in child development, B.A. Human Services

I love reading and story time is definitely my favorite part of working with children. I try to become the characters in the story to keep them engaged. Working in childcare has been my passion and watching all the children grow from toddlers to school agers as they create memories that will last a lifetime is something I never want to miss. In my spare time, I also enjoy doing 5K Runs and listening to all kinds of music.
