Welcome to Our School

Welcome to Childtime on 24 Mile Road! We are a NAEYC-accredited childcare and preschool center located at the corner of 24 Mile Road and Mound Road in Shelby Township, MI. We proudly serve families from the Shelby Township, Rochester, Romeo, Utica, Sterling Heights, and Macomb Township areas.

We offer flexible scheduling options including full-time, part-time, drop-in care, and Summer Camp, supporting the needs of today’s busy families. Our programs include Infants, Toddlers, Twos, Early Preschool, Preschool, Pre-K, and Before- and After-School Clubs. We also offer the Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP), Michigan's free Pre-K program for eligible four-year-olds. School-age families also appreciate our bus transportation to Switzer, Roberts, Morgan, Monfort, and Peace Lutheran.

We offer enrichment programs such as Yoga and Spanish, along with access to our large outdoor area and rock climbing wall, encouraging movement, exploration, and fun.

Our experienced teaching team brings 100 years of combined experience and holds credentials including CPR and First Aid certifications, Master Teacher qualifications, Safety Captain training, and Lead Teacher qualifications, ensuring a safe and nurturing learning environment every day.

Our families love the strong sense of community we’ve built here, along with our focus on safety and the added connection provided by SproutAbout, our family communication app with live streaming camera access and real-time updates.

I have worked as an assistant teacher, lead teacher, assistant director and now i have found my home as director at childtime of Shelby Township.
