Welcome to Childtime educational daycare in Shelby Township, MI! Our center is located at Mound and 24 Mile Road and services the Rochester, Romeo, Shelby, Utica, Sterling Heights and Macomb Township areas. We offer Infant, Toddler, Twos, Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten and School-Age programs, as well as a summer camp program that includes special in-house vendors and field trips.
In this challenging, uncertain time, we recognize the strain the current climate creates for families. We remain committed to doing everything possible to support our community. That starts with a healthy, safe environment for your child when they're away from home.
Our current health and safety practices include: face coverings are required for any adult entering the building (all staff members wear them when working with children); taking temperatures - we're now screening all staff members and children upon arrival at school to check for raised temperatures or evident symptoms; limited classroom access - to curb the spread of germs and control group size, we are having parents and family members remain in common areas of the center only. We are also performing regular wellness checks throughout the day. The parents of unwell children are notified immediately, to help stop the spread of illness. We are also implementing safe (and still healthy) dining. Family-style dining has been eliminated and we are now only serving pre-plated (or teacher-plated) meals to children.
We've strengthened our already rigorous cleanliness and hygiene practices (including more frequent, longer hand washing; cleaning and sanitizing surfaces and items in classrooms). We employ these measures to ensure your child can learn in the best environment possible. And so that you can have peace of mind while we're taking care of them. Additionally, we will be adding a live streaming tool called WatchMeGrow, which will allow parents to view their child's classroom throughout the day via any device!
Stay safe, stay healthy, and if you're looking for care at this time, we're here for you.

From a very early age, I knew I wanted to work in the early childhood field. I have been with the company since April of 2004 as a teacher, team lead, assistant director and director. I take pride in providing a warm and nurturing environment for everyone who comes into our building.

Growing up I always loved working with children. For me I loved the idea of being able to watch the children grow from an infant to graduating pre-k. Aside from having my own family my team is like my second family! I started out in this school as toddler lead, then team lead, and now assistant director.
