Welcome to Our School
Welcome to Childtime Learning Center in Silver Spring, MD!
My name is Stefanie Folta and I am the Director of the new Childtime in Silver Spring. I am so proud to present to the community our state-of-the-art center that boasts a STEAM lab, brand new playground, and so much more!
At Childtime, we strive to be your child's second home. You'll find experienced, dedicated teachers who are passionate about education. We provide a welcoming environment where children are free to learn at their own pace. Most of all, you'll find that we will care for, love, and respect your child in a way that will foster individuality.
We have a state-of-the-art security system at our front door that requires a unique code to enter. All of our parents have access to real-time updates of their child's day with our brightwheel app. The app features a communication portal so that while you are working, you can seamlessly communicate with your child's teacher.

Stefanie Folta, Director
Education: Bachelor of Science in English
Certifications: Maryland Credentialing, Level 6; Maryland Director Qualified; First Aid/CPR; Disaster Preparedness; Medication Administration
I have been a director for Childtime for eight years and have 15 years of experience in the field. I believe that the foundation we provide children helps shape who they become. Our school becomes a second home for our children and our goal is to make every experience count!

Ileana Gagliardi, School Education Manager
Education: Associate's Degree in Arts and Science
Certifications: CPR/ First Aid
I have been in the early childhood field for over 26 years and it is my passion to work with children, parents and teachers. It is my goal to provide your family with a safe and nurturing environment where your child will be treated with love and respect always. In my role, I am responsible for ensuring that your child gets the most out of our innovative, child-focused curricula!

I have been with Childtime since 2012 and have loved being a part of every family's day. I have over 15 years of experience in the field and I use that experience to help model, teach, and mold the lives of children and teachers alike. I close the building every day and look forward to helping families in any way I can!

Education: College Coursework in English
Certifications: 90 Hours in Preschool, CPR/First Aid
I have been with Childtime since 2016 and have worked at the Ellicott City location in addition to our brand new school in Silver Spring. I open the building every morning and will make sure your child's day starts off on a positive note! We look forward to seeing you in our brand-new center!
