Welcome to Childtime of Herndon, VA! My name is Samantha Barrett, our center's director. I have over 11 years of experience in early Childhood Education and have performed as a School Leader for more than five years. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our school and all of the great programs we have to offer!

Samantha Barrett, Director
Education: Interdisciplinary Studies Degree with a focus on Education, Psychology and Fine Art
Certifications: BLS, CPR/First Aid, MAT, DHO, Bloodborne Pathogen
With a comprehensive background in early childhood to elementary education, I embarked on my career as a teacher, progressing to roles as a curriculum specialist and school education manager in ECE over a decade. As Director, I firmly believe that a child’s formative years lay the groundwork for lifelong learning. It is a privilege to provide nurturing care to your family and foster a passion for education in each child.

As Assistant Director in ECE, I'm passionate about their safety, happiness, and growth. My background in Liberal Arts and Humanities enhances my approach to educational leadership and innovation.
