Welcome to Our School

Welcome to Childtime of Holland! Our daycare center is located at 163 Panther Dr in Holland, MI, conveniently positioned behind the Herrick District Library. We proudly serve families throughout the Holland and Zeeland communities.

We offer early learning programs for children 6 weeks to 12 years, including Infants, Toddlers, Twos, Early Preschool, Preschool, Pre-K, and Before- and After-School Clubs. We also proudly offer the Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) for eligible four-year-olds, supporting kindergarten readiness through high-quality early learning. To support busy families, we provide flexible scheduling options such as full-time, part-time, drop-in care, and Summer Camp.

Children also enjoy enrichment programs that support movement, creativity, and early learning, including Spanish and Yoga.

Our teaching team holds strong early-childhood qualifications, including CPR & First Aid Certifications and several of our educators hold Child Development Associate (CDA) Credentials, ensuring a caring and developmentally supportive environment.

We take safety seriously, maintaining strong health and safety practices that ensure children feel secure, supported, and ready to learn each day. In our classrooms, children gain confidence, independence, and important social skills that prepare them for every stage ahead.

Families also stay connected throughout the day with SproutAbout, our family communication app that offers livestreaming video of the classroom, real-time photos, videos, and daily care updates, providing peace of mind throughout the day.

Meet Our Staff

Alexandra Gelmini, Director

Education: Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education, ZA Early Childhood

Certifications: First Aid, CPR Adults & Infants, SIDS and Blood Borne Pathogens

Alex has recently joined the Learning Care Group! She graduated from Western Michigan University in 2012 with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and a ZA in Early Childhood. She started her career as a Kindergarten Teacher in Allegan Public Schools. Alex moved to Pittsburgh in 2017, where she worked in the Child Care Setting starting as a teacher and working her way into the Leadership Role. She has two children of her own and is excited to build relationships with families and staff!
