Welcome to Childtime, an educational daycare in Waldorf, MD! My name is Linysha and I am the school's director. I have been working in early childhood education since 2008 and have my degree in early childhood development.
Our combined staff experience is well over 180 years. Our teachers receive ongoing monthly training and all of them are First Aid and CPR certified.
Whether it's in our Infant Care or Preschool programs, I love interacting with families and seeing the children grow and develop into lifetime learners. My staff and I enjoy the personal relationships we develop with parents and children and truly feel like an extension of their family.
We take safety and security very seriously. Our front door is code-accessible only and each child must be signed in and out daily by authorized persons. We are also closely following CDC guidelines as we take extreme care to maintain our safe, healthy school environment. Health protocol that we are following include: Face coverings are required by all adults entering the building, all staff and children are having daily temperature screenings when they arrive and we've also strengthened our cleanliness and hygiene practices.
We value the relationships we have with our families and work hard to involve them. We offer monthly family events and encourage volunteers in the classroom. Also, coming soon our WatchMeGrow cameras will be going live. This will give the parents access to log on and watch their child throughout the day having fun and learning.
Our School-Age children will have support with their their distance learning requirements this upcoming school year through our innovative Prep Lab program. They will take part in weekly STEM projects and the teachers will provide character-developing activities from our My Best Self curriculum.
Call us today for a tour and see why our Childtime is the premier early childhood learning center in the Waldorf, MD area! We look forward to meeting you!

I began my journey at Childtime in 2009 as an assistant teacher and moved up throughout my years. I have a passion for being a part of a child's growth and development at every age level. As the director, my goal is to provide a safe, nurturing and educational environment for young children.
